Perfect for Vacations
With a capacity of 800 and admission is at a really low cost, this urban beach is the perfect spot to unwind after a busy week at work. It even has bar service with a variety of drinks. Thinking of heading south? Think again! Just like Central Park in New York, Montreal is breaking up its urban landscape with piles of white sand. The place has the kind of festive feel that makes you forget you’re in a major metropolis.
Fun for the Whole Family!
The beach is open to everyone until 5 p.m. It’s ideal for a family outing, with plenty of space to play around. Whether you’re into sandcastle contests or beach balls, the beach has everything you need to have a good time! The beach is set quite a bit higher than the water, for an ever better view. Don’t worry though—there’s a glass barrier at the water’s edge to keep the beach kid friendly and safe for everyone.
Nightlife on the Beach
After 5 p.m., the beach shifts gears. For anyone 18 years or older, there are tons of activities scheduled all summer long (see the Beach Events Schedule). Restaurant l’Horloge is there to serve up food and drinks throughout the evening. Admission to the festivities ranges around 20$ depending of the event. If you arrived early in the night, a VIP section is available for free. This section includes a confortable couch with a nice beach umbrella. If it’s available, don’t miss the opportunity to enjoy your night form there, it’s the best spot of the beach.
